An academic transcript confirms your programme of study, the modules which have been taken, the total number of credits and grades achieved and the academic award and classification (where appropriate). Transcripts are printed on official transcript paper and are endorsed with the University of Stirling stamp.
We will aim to deal with a transcript request within 5 working days. However, during busy periods, this may take longer. Please note that only the person to whom the transcript relates can make a request.
If you would like your transcripts sent to an address out with Europe, you must also separately purchase the appropriate quantity of “Mailing Overseas for Confirmation Documents” below.
Students are issued with a final transcript without charge when they complete their period of study at the University, subject to fulfilling all academic and administrative requirements. If you require additional transcripts to be sent to you, please purchase via the online shop.
Your Academic History will detail the modules and grades currently held on your central record and this is how they would appear on a purchased academic transcript. Students due to receive an official academic award may wish to purchase a transcript after their award has been confirmed as this would not appear on the transcript before then.
With the exception of taught postgraduate programmes in information technology grades are not held centrally for taught postgraduate students who left University prior to September 2003. Therefore you should email firstname.lastname@example.org before purchasing your transcript online so that we check what module and grade information we still hold.
From June 2015, a transcript includes additional student activities and achievements. Should you prefer that any of your extra-curricular activities and achievements do not appear on your academic transcript, please complete this section of the questionnaire when purchasing.
