DescriptionWe will deliver our ISAK Level 3 Course in Kinanthropometry at the University of Stirling from Monday, 5th May to Saturday, 10th May 2025. This course is ideal for professionals who wish to deepen their knowledge of anthropometric measurement techniques and become certified to teach ISAK Level 1 and Level 2 courses. Course details: Dates: Monday, 5th May to Saturday, 10th May 2025 This course will provide six full days of training, including theoretical and practical sessions, to ensure you acquire the necessary skills to conduct accurate anthropometric assessments and train others in these techniques. The course will be taught by Dr Nidia Rodríguez-Sánchez, an experienced ISAK Level 4 instructor, who brings extensive expertise in nutrition, physiology, and kinanthropometry.

More InformationCourse content: The ISAK Level 3 course will cover the following topics: · Advanced anthropometric techniques, including the full ISAK profile. · The scientific principles and evidence supporting anthropometric measurements. · Use of ISAKMetry, the official app for anthropometric measurements. · Pedagogical techniques for teaching and accrediting other professionals in the field. Prerequisites: To attend the ISAK Level 3 course, you must meet the following requirements: · Completed ISAK Level 2 certification (with a valid certificate). · Significant experience in anthropometric measurements. · A Master’s or PhD in fields related to Human Sciences, such as Movement, Nutrition, Sports Medicine, or similar. Requirements for accreditation: To be accredited as an ISAK Level 3 anthropometrist, participants must meet the following conditions: · Full attendance (six days of the course from 9 am to 5 pm with some breaks during the day). · Pass the written theoretical exam with a minimum of 75%. · Pass the practical exam with a minimum of 80%, demonstrating proficiency in taking anthropometric measurements. · Complete the measurement of 20 subjects within six months post-course.
