Former students may request a PDF copy of an official confirmation of studies letter from the University that confirms the start and end date of studies, the programme of study and the qualification awarded. The letter will be endorsed with the University of Stirling stamp.
We will aim to deal with a confirmation of studies letter within 5-7 working days. However, during busy periods e.g start of semester, this may take significantly longer. If your order is urgent, and has passed the 5-7 working days please contact us on 01786 466022 and will do all that we can to complete your order quickly. Please note that only the person to whom the letter relates can make a request.

Three (3) signed copies of your original award certificate, which you have been previously issued, stamped and signed to certify that they are true copies.

Transcripts prior to 2006
As a result of the government guidance regarding Covid-19 the University is currently open, but with restricted access to offices. During this time it will take longer to fulfil orders to produce and post transcripts for those students who completed their studies prior to 2006 as these are held on campus.


Transcripts from 2007 onwards
As a result of the government guidance regarding Covid-19 the University is currently open, but with restricted access to offices. During this time it will take longer to print and post paper copies of your transcripts. Please be assured you will receive your PDF copy as soon as possible but this can take up to 10 working days. Your paper copies will then be sent as soon as we are able.

Students/graduates may request a PDF version of their transcript be emailed to them. If you require transcripts for more than one programme of study then you will need to purchase a transcript for each programme. The transcript will bear the University of Stirling stamp.

This service may not be available for UG students and PG students that graduated before 2003 due to grades not being held prior to this date.

Where we are unable to provide a transcript we will issue you with a confirmation of studies letter which confirms your programme of study, dates of studies and academic award achieved

Academic syllabus provide a brief outline of modules and subjects covered during a student’s studies at the University of Stirling. One copy of your Academic Transcript will also be included with this product.

This option is mainly for students who have a European or international postal address and are not able to collect their certificate at their graduation ceremony, or arrange collection from the Student Hub. To ensure that this is sent through a reliable tracking service we recommend that you order your certificate to be sent via DHL. DHL is a trackable courier service to most countries across the world.
