Three (3) signed copies of your original award certificate, which you have been previously issued, stamped and signed to certify that they are true copies.

Please note that this service is NOT for graduates who have lost their award certificate. If that is the case, please order a replacement degree certificate.

Detailed Description

Students who have graduated from the University of Stirling can request us to certify photocopies of their original award certificate.  We can only certify copies, not the original certificate.  The certified copy will be signed and stamped with the University stamp.

Once this document has been purchased you will need to forward a scanned copy of your degree certificate/transcript along with your Order Number to the Student Services Hub. Please do not purchase this document until you are able to do this or your request will not be processed.

A form of identification must also be sent to the Student Services Hub in support of your order.  If your name is the same as when you graduated you may use any of the following as proof of identity; passport (personal details page), photo card driving license or birth certificate.  If your name has changed since you graduated your application must also be accompanied by either a copy of your marriage certificate or a Deed Poll certificate that bears the name you were enrolled under.  Please email a copy of your identification along with a copy of your degree certificate/transcript to [email protected] ensuring the subject of your email is entitled “Proof of ID for Certified Degree Certificate”. 

Please note that is not possible at the present time for documents to be collected and that it can take up to 14 working days for your documents to be prepared before being sent out.

If you would like the certified copies sent to an address out with the UK, you must also separately purchase the appropriate quantity Mailing fee
