Description
Former students may request an official confirmation of studies letter from the University that confirms the start and end date of studies, the programme of study and the qualification awarded. The letter will be endorsed with the University of Stirling stamp.
We will aim to deal with a confirmation of studies letter within 14 working days. However, during busy periods, this may take longer. Please note that only the person to whom the letter relates can make a request.

COVID-19 - Please note that as staff are currently working remotely we are we are unable to provide paper copies of documents at this time. Please be assured we will continue to send pdf copies and paper copies will be sent as soon as we are able.
If you would like your letter sent to an address out with the UK, you must also separately purchase the appropriate quantity Mailing fee
A form of identification must also be sent to the Student Services Hub in support of your order. If your name is the same as when you graduated you may use any of the following as proof of identity; passport (personal details page), photo card driving license or birth certificate. If your name has changed since you graduated your application must also be accompanied by either a copy of your marriage certificate or a Deed Poll certificate that bears the name you were enrolled under. Please email a copy of your identification to [email protected] ensuring the subject of your email is entitled “Proof of ID for Confirmation of Studies Letter”.
